Project Overview
Create a depository for my client`s Vendor Outreach Efforts utilizing Access. The database will be used to store client profiles. The database will be linked to the internal CMS server (SQL) and will pull "read only" data from that server for display and reporting purposes only. A fully functional database that will track and run reports on our vendor outreach activities (i.e. calling firms, attending events, etc) and what affect those activities may have on the client is the goal.
Skills Required
* Comprehensive understanding of Access 2003 (building a database from start to finish)
* Critical skills in areas of building and using all Access objects including tables, forms, queries, reports,
* Proficiency in creating joins and relationships , calculated fields, etc
* Proficiency in working with ODBC connections
* Outstanding Project Specific Items:
* Replace "Initial Trade Designation" with "Outreach Categories"
* Add Outreach Categories w/multiple selection capabilities
* Change names in right column on "General Contact Form1" to match CMS fields
* Vendor Activity Subform (Gray out - make read only view)
* Map Priority codes to larger Outreach categories (relationships)
* Connect relevant fields to CMS server tables
* Right Column Info on General Contact Form1 should display the following:
* Current Status (qual/certification)
* Last application date (qual/certification)
* Overall status (qual/certification)
* MWL status in individual categories (i.e. "M", "W`, "L")
This is a short-term temporary assignment. Quick fill!!!! Client easily accessible and convenient to several subway lines from any borough.
